A wintry mix could cause problems for your Monday morning commute, according to the National Weather Service in Grand Rapids. A mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain looks to develop across at least parts of Lower Michigan late Sunday night through early Monday morning. While accumulations should be fairly light, slick travel conditions may occur for the Monday morning commute. Gusty winds Monday morning combined with ice accumulations could also cause some power outages. Precipitation will change to rain through the morning heading into the afternoon, slowly improving travel conditions. Any snow and ice accumulations are expected to be fairly light.

Plan for extra travel time, make sure mobile devices are charged and dress in layers as the high for the day is foretasted to reach the lower 50's.
