If you ever have to call 911 for any reason, it's always best to keep calm so the person you're talking to can get all of the vital information.  And in many cases, that's easier said than done. After all, if you're calling 911, there's some kind of emergency going on and people are probably freaking the f--- out. But this kid somehow remained calm, despite what had just happened to him.

17-year-old Jacob Ohl was walking along train tracks recently, rocking out with his earbuds in his ears. He somehow didn't hear a train coming down the track and it hit him. Somehow, Jacob wasn't killed by the train, but he had some pretty terrible injuries. The train severed both of his feet. If there was ever a situation for someone to freak out while calling 911, this was it! But Ohl managed to stay extremely calm, call 911 and explain what had happened.

"I think it cut them off," Ohl said to the dispatcher like it was no big deal. He calmly gave all of the information to the dispatcher and help was on the way.

Unfortunately, both of Jacob's legs had to be amputated below the knees and he has a long road to recovery ahead of him. But he seems to remain optimistic about the whole thing somehow.

You can listen to the incredibly calm 911 call below!
