On February 7th, DeVos Performance Hall will be filled with the music of video games. Music that I am sure if you play older or newer video games, you will recognize the moment you hear it. It is some of the most celebrated music in history, and it overall just kicks ass!

Sean & Sam of the GR Symphony stopped by the WGRD studios to talk video game music with station nerd Metalhead Ned.

When you think of a symphony, most people get the perception of boring music, uptight, black tie affair right? Wrong you are! The symphony is quickly becoming a pretty cool thing to check out. Especially when they play video game music from Legend of Zelda, Elder Scrolls, God of War, etc.

Check out the video below as I chat about video games, the symphony, and my attempt at joining the GR Symphony Choir.

rePlay: Symphony of Heroes will be taking place at DeVos Performance Hall on Feb. 7th. Tickets are still available at Ticketmaster outlets and the DeVos Performance Hall Box office
