5/3rd Bank in Wyoming Robbed, Residents Told to Shelter in Place

Kent County Sheriff's deputies are telling people near M-6 and U.S. 131 to shelter in place while they search for a bank robbery suspect. Wyoming Police say the Fifth Third Bank on 54th St. near Division Ave. was robbed this afternoon.

This is the second time in nine days that that particular bank has been robbed. Following the last robbery, the suspect escaped on foot down a trail. Police have not arrested anyone in connection with that robbery.

Police haven't released many more details, but a witness told WZZM-13 that they saw a man running West on 54th from the bank, wearing a orange mask, camouflage clothing, and carrying a red bag.
