South Haven, home to the National Blueberry Festival, is missing $2,700 of it's prized berries.

WZZM-13 reports that the blueberries were stolen late Tuesday or early Wednesday morning from a farm on 16th Avenue near South Haven.

The farm's owners were planning to ship the blueberries and had left them in an unlocked building.

Van Buren County Police are searching for the person who took the 87 containers full of blueberries.

The containers are lime green and marked "Michigan Blueberry Growers Association".
