Early Monday Morning May 7th two men in Muskegon who shot each other are in the hospital. The shooting happened on Smith Street near Holbrook in the 7 a.m. hour.

According to WZZM and Muskegon police, the two men wound up firing shots at each other after a domestic dispute elevated to violence.

Both men are listed in fair condition at this time after police found a 37-year-old man with a gunshot wound at the home on Smith Street. The 26-year-old man apparently was dropped off at a nearby hospital.

One of the men who's father was interviewed said, "My son came home from work and found the other man with his girlfriend." Neighbors say the heard multiple gun shots fired and saw a man in his underwear jump a fence then take off down the road.

There have been no arrests made at this time. The Muskegon Police Department are still investigating the incident.
