12-year-old Kris McDowall may get to support rock legends AC/DC when they visit Glasgow, Scotland this June. Why? Well, a video of McDowall performing the Australian rockers' tune 'You Shook Me All Night Long' went viral, leading to an online petition.

McDowall's fans, with help from AC/DC’s official fan club, have started a Facebook campaign to get ‘Wee Kris’ to perform with the band at Glasgow's Hampden Park on June 15.

“It would mean the world to me to open for AC/DC because I have always been their biggest fan," says McDowall. "I am really grateful for all the support I’ve received. It’s really encouraging for me to know that people believe in me, as much as I believe in myself to go and play Hampden ... I’m still pinching myself that this is all happening at the moment. I know I can do it, because I feel like I’ve been waiting for a while, practicing hard and that’s why I think I deserve it. If this comes off, it’ll be amazing, nothing could describe how it would feel.”

The little rocker has been busking since the age of nine, sometimes earning up to £600 in a single day.

As of this posting, the campaign page has over 2,500 likes and counting. Check out the videos of Wee Kris jamming AC/DC above and below. Plus, make sure to catch Kris’ great leg-up guitar moves throughout.
