Quick thinking is a gift that some people are just born with.  This 12-year-old girl in Williamsburg, Virginia definitely has it.  And recently, she thought so fast that she saved her and her sister from a carjacker!

On Saturday, Brandie Weiler was on her way to Busch Gardens with her two daughters, 12-year-old Maddie and 7-year-old Mollie, when they stopped to help two car accident victims.  What happened next is a thing of nightmares.

Paul Salsman, the man who caused the accident, went over to the Weiler car and got in, in an attempt to flee the scene.  Maddie threw the car in drive before Salsman could start the car and then started punching the hell out of him.  She was screaming and throwing haymakers in order to keep Salsman from driving away with her and her sister in the car.  Her heroism worked because police came and arrested Salsman on three counts of felony carjacking, felony hit and run and driving while under the influence of drugs.

Three cheers for Maddie and her heroic act!
